The Legend of the Waage Women

This page is dedicated to everything Waage and the legendary Waage Women.  We will first start by explaining the derivation of Waage, which is Norwegian and means to weigh.  It also happens to be the former last name of two sisters, Audrey ("Aud") and Linda ("Linny"), who have since married (not to each other - that's just plain weird...) but are still referred to by their respective husbands and friends as the "Waage Women".

First of all, to be in the presence of a Waage Woman is a prescient, awe-inspiring, aura producing, and thoroughly wonderful experience.   A Waage Woman has a certain grace and presence not found since Princess Dianna.  But don't let them fool you, they are irascible as all get out.  The other most incredible thing about the Waage Women, is that no matter what is going on or what has gone on, "IT ALL COMES BACK TO POOP!!!".

Waage Women  love their wine, which must be a lively (read high alcohol content) chardonnay, sipped in egregious amounts with neighbors and friends.  They have funny stories and are world travelers, and are always the center of attention at parties, get-togethers and "meet on the streets".  But the most amazing thing about Waage Women, is when the discussion really gets going, a Poop Story is always the culmination, bringing about much ballyhoo, snickers, and snorting from the poop story telling Waage Women.

To be the husband of a Waage Woman is an honor and a privilege and, unfortunately for the remainder of the male population out there,  the Waage Women do have husbands, or man-servants and cabana boys as they like to refer to them.  The husbands are John Catalano (aka "Oh Cabana Boy") and Eric Johnson (aka "I'm Mrs. Johnson's Husband").  Each of these impeccable specimens is in his own right a champion in his field of endeavor and very well respected in their working community, however, in the presence of the Waage Women they are well aware of their place; which can be lower than the amebic waist in a stagnant pond.
